Interactive headlines is a new feature designed to improve your reading experience on mobile devices. With his new feature, the article view button has been removed.
With this feature, you can tap directly on a headline in a magazine or newspaper to instantly access a clean, mobile-enhanced article view.
- By default, Interactive Headlines is enabled on phones only, and currently only available on iOS (version 7.10.1).
- If you’re using an iPad, the feature is off by default, but you can choose to enable it in the settings.
- Interactive headlines are available on the publications where we have mobile optimised articles, starting with the latest issues from 28 June onwards.
Adjusting the settings for interactive headlines
You can easily toggle this feature on and off as you prefer.
- Simply go to the menu in the Readly app by clicking on your profile icon and scroll down to Settings. In the section Reading Experience you will find the option to toggle on and off Interactive Headlines.
- If disabled, you can still access article view by using the Table of Contents, just like before. For more information about accessing articles by using the Table of Contents, visit this article.
